Ground Control as we know it today was launched when three leading brands – US-based Ground Control, and UK-based Wireless Innovation and Rock Seven – united to create a best-in-class technology and service provider in satellite and IoT.

Ground Control uses satellite and cellular technology to connect people and things – and we specialize in connecting hard-to-reach people and things. From wind farm telemetry to catch management, flood warnings to forestry machinery, when you have a remote data transfer challenge, we’ve got you covered.

We design and build our own technology, from low power, small form factor satellite IoT devices through to handheld, two-way messaging-enabled trackers. For many customers, these work out of the box, supported by our subscription, device and data management platform, Cloudloop.

We also engineer custom solutions, and like nothing more than solving difficult connectivity problems; it’s the genesis of each new packaged solution.
